Hi, I’m Wendy Miranda Varela. I study Computer Systems Engineering at Fidélitas University in Costa Rica, and I have a background in IT support.
I’m currently taking part in the WPCredits program, where I’m learning how the WordPress open source community works and making my first contributions to the project. This site is my portfolio: I use it to document my progress, share what I learn and keep evidence of my work.
My interests in WordPress
- Learning how open source projects are built and maintained.
- Contributing to the WordPress community.
- Collaborating with people around the world.
- Building my professional profile through real, verifiable contributions.
Why a landscape blog?
Outside of tech, I love nature and discovering new places. Costa Rica has incredible volcanoes, beaches, cloud forests and rivers in a very small territory, and I wanted my portfolio to share that beauty too. It also fits my WPCredits contribution area: the WordPress Photo Directory.
